The proposed fix don`t actually fix the bug, it is still present in
gnome-settings-daemon 3.8.5-0ubuntu6.
Status needs to be downgraded from Fix Released.

The duplicate flag is wrong, this bug is about alt-tab being slow in

It is not impossible, it is quite simple, just get the list of installed

Also, apt should have some kind of log, this way you could list all
installed packages between some date. Also, we could see all changes
filtered by date. Something like:
$ apt-get log 2011-01-01:2011-05-01
And that should return something like:
2011-03-10:
Installed some-pakage-name 0.1.2
This bug should be re-opened as it is NOT fixed in Maverick. I'm running
Maverick on a system with a RS482 [Radeon Xpress 200M] and I still see
tearing on the top left corner of my screen when playing full-screen
videos.
Note: compiz is turned off as it is not supported on my hardware.

No, the bug still persists after latest upgrades.

mouseemu to be automagicaly
I'm having the same problem in my mac mini (feisty ppc). Could you give
