In Receiving Options I had Use Custom Command to Contect to Server
checked and the field contained ssh -C -l %u %h exec /usr/sbin/imapd.
If I uncheck this, evolution appears to work.

This is happening at home for me--no proxy. I've tried clearing local
configuration files to no avail. I've also turned off its password
memory and not gotten a password prompt.
xsession.errors says:
(evolution:3175): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: Object class EMFolderTree doesn't
implement
I can confirm on a clean install of 9.10 64-bit. Gnome Clock Applet
displays the time wrong but everything else (date in terminal, time and
date in System-Administration) show time correctly. Setting the time
manually has no immediate affect on what is displayed by the applet.

In this bug I am saying that there is NO audible alert. In the other
there is a problem with a custom alert. This is not exactly the same as
the other. Now perhaps I am mistaken and there is a way to set a

Tacking on to the last rant, normally when a bug has already been
reported it is marked as a duplicate. I searched for this before
posting and I've seen bugs reported as duplicates improperly in the past
so where is the duplicate so I can confirm?

I should also mention the following:
The keyboard is inoperative and if you don't notice that the shutdown
failed then you will find that the system temperature rises
frighteningly high.
Often when the shutdown works, the progress bar on the usplash starts
very near the end.
