I have the same problem here.
I can't "aptitude safe-upgrade" my system because the error always shows up.
Is there a solution for this?

I was able to use my card with Gutsy using the Vodafone software, but after a
reinstall to Hardy Beta, it stopped working (connect-disconnect-cycle).
The instructions given worked for me in Hardy Beta.

I just reinstalled my hardy laptop because of this.
I tried a lot of stuff without luck.
Since I had no Internet access to check this page, which could had saved me the

I also can confirm the bug and that flumotion started working after I
downloaded and installed the packages flumotion 0.2.2 and python-central
0.5.8 from the official debian repositories.

I just bought a Fujitsu Siemens SI1520 notebook and I can't get the internal
microphone to work.
It doesn't even appear on volume control applet.
The hda-intel sound card details are (lspci -v):

Anyways I was using Firefox with Flash 9 Beta (still using now with no
problems), Java from Automatix 2 and no extensions other than the
