Public bug reported: After upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04, hence upgrading Gimp to 2.10.36 a crash happens reliably after quit of the application when there was unsaved work, which was selected to be discarded. So to reproduce:
* Open Gimp (2.10.36) (Ubuntu 24.04) * Create "unsaved work" (f.i. create new image, potentially draw something...) * Quit the application (File -> Quit) * In the "unsaved work" dialog choose to discard and quit => crash The crash is always captured, yielding this bug report information attached to this ticket.
