I see random window misplacement up through Karmic. Symptoms are a lag (high system load) and then the windows get semi-randomly strewn throughout the workspaces. I used to see it rarely with a 5 column, 4 row setup. With a 7x7 arrangement, I see it regularly. Marking as confirmed.
