I also applied the latest bios to my DV5t-1000, suspend-to-ram now works
flawlessly.

Hi,
I am getting the same problem but with a HP Pavilion DV5. I was not able
to resume from S3 state on Hardy Heron and now with Intrepid Ibex it is
not working either. The hibernation works though.
Unfortunately that means I cannot provide a power management trace as
the hard drive/filesystem

I have also a Dell XPS M1210. With 2.6.24-19.34-generic, it seems to
suspend/resume most of the time. But sometimes it still resumes without
a functioning keyboard and mouse. The power button seems to work though
and I can do administration remotely using network and ssh. I have also
heard this
FYI, I initiated a suspend from network using /etc/acpi/sleep.sh
force and once resumed, the computer had a working keyboard.

I confirm this bug is also happening to me in Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 Dapper
LTS and Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy. This bug is potentially really important for
