I used the "eject" contextual menu on the icon of a blank Bluray-R on
the caja desktop, and I got a message saying that I need to wait for
data to be written on the disc before being able to remove it safely
(same message as when trying to eject an usb stick, when some data
I have the same bug when I want to use the Korean input with ibus.
The bug appeared after the lucid - maverick upgrade.
The bug is not present in the maverick Live CD.

I got the same problem on my Acer travelmate laptop, but in my case the
problem seems to come from the acpi driver of the kernel.

I experienced some problems after my Upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic on my

Some news here.
When I boot with the kernel 2.6.31-15-generic with acpi=off, my computer is
very slow and gnome-power-manager seems to have some problems.
I tried to restart and disabling gnome-power-manager, but the startup
process seems slower.
This bug seems related to this one:
