Public bug reported:
Hp Envy m6-1225dx, Insyde bios, Intel i5 dual core 2.6 Ghz, Intel hd
4000 graphics, 750 GB HDD
When attempting to install Ubuntu 13.10 in efi mode and secure boot off,
I get message cannot read hd1 need to load kernel first.
Attempting to dual boot with windows 8 oem image,
Same problem I am having. I was installing hplip-gui, which allowed me
to run hp-setup and install printer. I should just install system-
config-printer-gnome, as I do not need hplip-gui.
