Just remembered - I never had this problem with UNR 9.10, so I am
returning to that version. First boot was slow, but at least no
messages. I'll stay with it.

I did it the easy way - removed Evolution and installed Thunderbird!

Update today (Nov. 3) has no effect. Error message is still present, and
applications are affected (Grisbi cannot save file, segmentation error;
F-spot printouts area grey pattern, not of selected pix)

I could put up with the error messages if I had a useable machine, but I
have found that I cannot use my accounts program (Grisbi) because of a
segmentation fault when trying to save after a reconciliation. Add to
thie being unable to print photos from F-spot or photoprint, and I
wonder what to do
