reliably, except that it happens for me in *every* ubuntu-gnome session
(15.04) within 15 minutes or so of login. But it seems to be triggered
by a background tracker action, not by an attempt to extract a
particular file directly. If

I'm trying to update to compiz 1:0.9.7.0~bzr2995-0ubuntu3 but the
package (along with epiphany-extensions) is being held back. I double-
checked and I have all of the dependencies, but it's telling me that I
would need to uninstall ubuntu-desktop to upgrade it!

Vielen Dank jochen. Just a point of clarification. You say that 9.10 is
an alpha release for the next LTS, so we should expect critical bugs. If
that's the case, this is something that is not being communicated to
users. When you go to the Canonical site there is no indication that
9.10 would be
My machine seems to have an Intel GMA 950 chipset. Why don't others
experiencing the problem post their specific graphics adapter info here
