I have this problem on the lubuntu 17.10 installer iso that I just
downloaded too. Seems to be not fixed in the released package.

As we had continuing severe problems with our applications, I downgraded the
entire nfs-kernel-server and nfs-utils packages to version 1:1.2.5-3ubuntu3
using "apt-get install nfs-common=1:1.2.5-3ubuntu3" and "apt-get install
nfs-kernel-server=1:1.2.5-3ubuntu3".

that file into mawk using the {FS=","} within the brackets, the first line of
output is as if the field separator was still a space instead of the comma that

I am able to confirm that this problem exists. My pidgin worked fine
until 25 May 2011, since then I get this error. I have updated to 2.7.11
from 2.7.6 with no improvement. I am unable to sign into yahoo with my
id's using pidgin.
