msttcorefonts has a known issue, bug 56880, that prevents the installation
behind some proxies.
A workaround is also available at
Replace the entire /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list file with the
one I have attached. Do not keep the old one - it is not valid.
Of course, the one I have attached is for Hardy. You may need to
substitute 'hardy' with 'intrepid' if you are running 8.10.

Message List Pane disappears
There are two issues here, the 2008-10-08 behavior (cannot select any
folders), and the 2008-10-09 behavior (cannot select trash).
