I guess it's still an issue for that kernel. Currently, I am running
8.04 and I need the following patches to make it work. I found those
patches in the archlinux repositories

Hi, it is still an issue. I just checked, and the 6.06.1 related avm-
fritz.tgz still does not have the fix -- see my initial report. I know
how to get around it, and having to build the fcpmcia modules for every
new kernel is the only thing that annoys me here. New kernels don't get
issues too oft
