Same thing with me.
I installed wine doors as well and then I reinstalled IE using the
setup.exe.

There are 3 things that have to be fixed in order to make vnc4server
work.
The first two are options needed to start vnc4server
1. Fix the font path used with -fp option.
The -fp option with the right path in Feisty is:
-fp /usr/share/fonts/X11/misc
2. Add -extension XFIXES option
Finally I got the bloody vnc4server working. What Roberto Faroline said
on 2007-04-25 DID WORK. They should at least assign someone to fix it (I
was about to install fedora :-o).
Anyway, this is what I did to make it work:
Modify the file /etc/xinetd.d/Xvnc, by adding at the end of the
Logging stoped just after feisty (sucktsy) update.
The /var/log/boot file was updated the day before the upgrade.
