I am experiencing the same issue with a clean minimal install of Ubuntu 19.10 on an Acer SF314-57
It seems the suspend mode defaults to s2idle which is causing the problem. After switching to deep, suspend works correctly and the system does not hang anymore. The issue seems similar to what users experience in [[https://askubuntu.com/questions/1029474/ubuntu-18-04-dell-xps13-9370 -no-longer-suspends-on-lid-close/1036122#1036122|this ask ubuntu thread]] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1852493 Title: Freeze on suspend (Acer SF314-57) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1852493/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
