I have the same issue with an Acer Swift 3 SF314-57 58D5.

Now running ubuntu 18.04

At first neither speakers or mic were working. I managed to get the speakers 
working by modifying the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.confn adding a lines at 
the end "options snd-hda-intel dmic_detect=0" [without quotes].
/etc/
The output for "arecord -l"

is as follows:

"""
**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: Generic Analog [Generic Analog]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
"""
Tried adding "blacklist snd_soc_skl" to the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf


No solution still found.
