[Bug 1078598] [NEW] Incorrect screen resolution of ubuntu 12.10 with VGA interface

Public bug reported: My Samsung screen resolution is 1920x1080. Ubuntu 12.10 under system settings displays it only allows four options 1360x768 being the highest. My video card is a G84(GeForce8600GT). There are 4 additional drivers available the all work but don't change the resolution. The
