It is a nightmare when Windows and Linux share one EFI Partition.
Therefore I always use separate EFI partitions for Linux and Windows.
For this to work the installer needs to let me set
a) the boot device if more than one disk is installed
b) must not force select the first EFI partition on

After interrupting a Thunderbird session by minimizing (using "-" in the
top right corner) I can't reopen the minimized Thunderbird window as all

I have the Problem with Kerner 4.15.0-43.
rdesktop sometimes hangs fullscreen and can only be killed via ssh from

I have a suspicion that I cannot verify, though. It might be that the new
version of evolution is not backward compatible with older caldav
specifications.
I stopped using evolution and use Thunderbird and Lightning. There are some
glitches but overall it works.

Kubuntu on a dual monitor setup
For me it happens often when using (making rdesktop
fullscreen and back)

I think I found the solution: when upgrading from the previous version
and if you keep your original /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf then
you most likely have an option in there which is called "myisam-
recover". If you rename that to "myisam-recover-option", then you should
be able to restart

machine

HP Workstation Z240 Tower
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1245v5 4C (3.50GHz, 8MB Cache, 2133 MHz FSB)

Brian: Are you positive this is a qgis problem? As said it only
appears on wily/amd64 and it doesn't even apply to qgis 2.8 (which
builds fine even on wily/amd64). I think it's related to automoc - so
something in the conjunction of cmake and Qt - hence the unspecific
assignment to "ubuntu"
