Looks like a fix is released without us noticing. I was affected a while ago,
but now it works.

Since unity --replace solves, and i'm able to switch ttys and work on
the, and so its not a complete system freeze i am experiencing, and i
doubt the duplicate status. The bug#993187 and this seem to be
(Ubuntu)

Two issues here.
1.Window previews dont disappear at times when mouse is pulled away from
launcher. I need to mouseover an icon without windows open (like swither) to
hide preview.
2.Only a screenshot can make things clear. Please find attatched few
screenshots. View them,

System doesn't resume on suspend. Shutdown doesn't complete

System resumes normally after suspend.
What happened:
When resume is triggered (either by lid opening or key-press) Fan speeds up,
and the system appears
And I forgot to mention:
Architecture: amd64
I'm relatively new to launchpad, and reporting bugs. I'll be glad to
provide any additional details necessary. I can also freshly install
Ubuntu11.10 amd64 alongside my current installation and test required
things on it.
