Issue confirmed on Jaunty 9.04. Not having Ctrl-Alt-Backspace didn't
make things easier. This can be replicated simply by adding an external
display while the system is running.

Little bit of an update.
The intel driver was updated, and the issue on boot is almost better. Sometimes
the wrong monitor displays at the login, then after login in neither display
turns on. I then restart x, and that fixes it.
The issue on resume has gotten worse. The system does not appear

Just tried to reproduce the symptoms.
The issue on resume remains, however for some reason the issue on boot did not
occur.

Totally forgot about this, found a workaround by using a different
wireless network here on campus (registered my mac address for the pda
specific network that is just mac filtered).

Wireless will not authenticate
Public bug reported:
With Ubuntu 8.10 final release up to date, I was having issues with wireless
authentication.
I am using the Broadcom restricted driver, connecting using WPA, WPA2
Enterprise with PEAP and MSChapV2.
MSChapV2 information is not being passed on when authenticating, and on
Install and ran Gutsy 32-bit i386 without any problems, however Gutsy 64
bit/amd64 freezes on a black screen at boot unless the splash option
is removed from the boot options.
