I use a USB cable to transfer podcast and music files from my computer
to my Android phone. I first delete the current files in the folder on
the phone, then click and drag the podcasts to the podcast folder, them
, and entering your preferred DNS servers, such
as FreeDNS. There's no excuse for this stuff to still be going on 3 1/2 years
after it was first reported.

Just installed Kubuntu 8.10 Alpha. When I tried to install additional
software, adept-installer wanted a root password. Guess what. It's
Ubuntu. No root. So it wouldn't run. I then tried to run it by starting
it from the command line
