If I'm reading it correctly, the submitter actually wants gedit to wrap
the text at the *right margin*, and it still doesn't do so in Lucid.

Sebastien, I interpret your comment meaning this is a duplicate, but I
don't see another bug connected to this. Was this intentional or did you
just forget? I'd like to subscribe to the one you think this is a
duplicate of, but can't see which one it is.

As reported by the developer at Gnome's Bugzilla, this has been fixed
upstream. https://launchpad.net/~pedrocastro/+archive/ppa/ has packages
with the fix implemented. (I've tried 1.1.0.2-1ppa1~lucid1 and can
confirm that it does indeed fix the issue.)

possible to seek forward nor backward in playing time of their Vorbis

In UNIX, the tilde character ~ usually refers to the user's home
directory. However, the run dialog doesn't seem to support this.
Steps to reproduce:

Sorry, forgot to mention that this happens on an up-to-date Lucid, but I
was also able to reproduce it in Maverick. The backtrace was from Lucid.

top' of applications even in one display? And if so, what's the
reasoning behind this?
I'm asking because I was about to report it as a bug when I came across
this report. To me this seems like the launcher in effect breaks 'Al
