overall Xenial upgrade process attempts to upgrade MySQL and PHPMyAdmin
simultaneously. Since MySQL is down while being upgraded, it is not
available to process PHPMyAdmin's upgrade script.
I had to reinstall PHPMyAdmin at the end

I would like to confirm this bug. It has been bothering me for a long
time (many versions). I am running XFCE4.12 at the moment, but no
clipboard manager software. Not even xfce4-settings-helper is running
(it doesn't seem to be installed on my system).

I tried to rebuild the Unity8, and also tried updating. Neither seems to
fix the issue. All that happens is that when I try to login with the
LXC, the screen blacks out with random text. It might help to mention
that I'm running Ubuntu Kylin 15.04.

I have not had a change to test this on older Ubuntus with the new
nightly firefox yet but I can confirm this is a issue with 15.04 15.10
. And since when this hits in the latest firefox (that will be shipped
on nearly all supported Ubuntu builds) this fix may need to be tested
