I can confirm this issue on my Asus K501LX-NH52 on a fresh install (Xubuntu 14.04.3) from yesterday. Touchpad stops working after suspend, forced to use USB mouse for now. The Elantech driver is installed automatically when Ubuntu installs. Kernel 3.19.0-37 is installed as part of the first batch
