In one upgrade I did from 8.04 to 8.10 I did not encounter any issues.
However, without understanding why or what caused this, I cannot say whether
or not that one upgrade was a comparable test...it was on a different box
than when I saw the original issue.

I can say that the bug is **NOT** gone :-(
I hit it tonight... I guess besides adding this, there's probably not
much more for me to add...
