I upgraded 7.10 to 8.04 today (23-04-2008). sudo was borked due to
unable to resolve host. I removed 127.0.1.1 montreal.ubuntu.com
ubuntu from /etc/hosts file in recovery mode. BAM! It worked perfectly.

sudo shouldn’t ABSOLUTELY NEED to look up the host it’s running on
I have this (really annoying) problem. When I log off, the box just
hanged with a blank screen. Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, Ctrl+Alt+Delete OR
Ctrl+Alt+F1(F2-7) don't work at all. Had to hard-reboot the box.

What the hell?!? I received updates today (including evolution,
evolution-data-server, evolution-plugins lib files). The appointment
in Clock applet does NOT match appointment in evolution again! I don't
understand why the patch (#301363) was not
I have had a problem with mine as well. America/Chicago timezone. I
modified Chicago.ics and it worked. There is an update timezones patch
in gnome-bug #301363 that needed to be upstream (submitted) to Ubuntu
Dapper Edgy updates.

Daylight Saving changes in Western Australia
It is a (way too) long standing bug for Dapper. It is very annoying for
not being fixed. Isn't Dapper a Long Term Support?

Yep. Evolution. I have this exact same problem with font size when
printing. It was INSANELY large on printed paper. I have to tape the
paper on the wall and read it from a comfort distance (literally).
There are quite few threads on this issue at ubuntuforums. Thus, it has
been NOT resolved for
Today (Jul 4th), I found out that totem(-xine) crashed. I did scaled
down the png file from 1280 to 1024. It worked. For pete's sake, the fix
is very much needed to kill this bug.
