I had the same problem with =2.6.27-3
Since some days (2.6.27.7) the problem seems to be fixed.
I have a Dell Precision M90 Notebook.

My Version is Hardy 64 Bit with enabled hardy-proposed packages.
Of course, the fileselector of gedit has all bookmark entries which I
added previously in nautilus, really nice.
My wish is that when I open a file from a sftp server with nautilus
(already bookmarked), gedit starts and opens the

When I move a custom starter with a custom icon assigned into the
default top panel the icon assignment is lost and a default icon is used
I am on Hardy stable, 64bit.
