My precise (12.04) system installed Django 1.3.1 and django-reversion
1.5.1 which do not work together. I had to overwrite

the user changes away from the current setting. This was fixed in Bug
#941948.
Note that an extra debconf question was not needed.

but the settings are still ignored. debian/landscape-client.postinst
first checks for the existence of /etc/landscape/client.conf. If it
exists, it does not read any debconf settings and reuses the existing
client.conf file.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1546 with 3GB of memory that is exhibiting the
same symptoms. Does the patch in #29 still need testing? If so, can
someone provide a new link to the patch? I think bugzilla.kernel.org is
still offline.
