I loaded things up in gconf-editor after the reinstall of AWN just to
look and see if there was something obviously off. There wasn't, but I
did notice that nearly everything was listed as no value. I'm
I get the same symptoms as Tom Fuchs. It is irritating because the
window is not where you expect it to be, but it isn't even consistent
about this: it does not go to the same unwanted location each time but
moves across the screen in a way that is not easily predictable.

The problems I have with Multisearch:
1) The name of the extension is not easily related to its effect. Multisearch
does affect searches, but only Google searches. To me, it sounds more like
something that adds a pack of search options than something that changes a
standard Google search into

would only be more confusing to use that term for two completely
different things.
Envelope makes sense, but doesn't make a good verb. You could also say
you were creating a packet or maybe a collection.

Perhaps we should just change never to never connected. That doesn't
make it sound like your network manager thinks it should never make any
attempt to connect to that network ever again, and does not require very
much work at all.

I am also affected by this bug. I'd just like to mention that this does
not happen every single time I suspend - probably somewhere around 2/3
to 3/4 of the time. So if you are testing this, make sure you don't just
test once.

After shutting down Windows XP and booting into Ubuntu Jaunty 64-bit
with latest upgrades, mass storage devices that previously worked fine
refuse to mount as a standard user. As root, they can be forced to
mount, but even with the -rw flag they won't mount in read/write,
I have this problem as well. This is the first time I've turned my
laptop off and on again since the 18th and suddenly, compiz quit
working. I'm going to try this script and see if it helps.

I think I'm also having this problem. Using 32-bit Jaunty, fully
updated, MeMaker crashes immediately when I try to start it.
