Fair enough if it can't be in the hardy release, but why not add it to
the updates that invariably come a week or so after release? This isn't
a small error. Anyone using frequencies will get wrong results. We

Mike, that is my experience too. I've used it in OSX (well it's
NeoOffice there), windows and Ubuntu Gutsy and Hardy and only in Hardy
do I see it. I don't know much about spreadsheets so it was just
happenstance that I found this and recognized that something was wrong.

Yes, this is an improvement. thanks. When the display dims on
inactivity, resuming activity brightens the screen. However, the display
does not dim on inactivity regularly. While testing this it would dim
after maybe 30 secs to a min. After a few cycles it stopped dimming.

Yep. Same here. My system had errors and then got into an endless reboot
pattern - or I suspect would have been endless if I hadn't stopped it. I
booted the live CD and ran fsck. Attached is the output of the check
showing the errors. To be honest, I find it hard to believe that so many

I'm adding a bit more info. Attached are two screenshots of frequency
data sent to me. One was opened right after the other. Notice that the
data is not the same. Both were opened by clicking on the download link
in my email and choosing to open with OO.o. They opened in read only

Thomas, I can verify that it happened for me with the default theme. I
cannot verify that it's the same error. On a clean install of Hardy
(both beta and alpha 6), opening the theme manager (settings - prefs -
appearance) caused a crash window to open when trying to change the
theme. I don't

haven't had much luck. Pressing esc to skip causes the boot process to
freeze and need a reboot. Of course I haven't seen the option in several
days so maybe it's been fixed.

I think this is a bug. I can reproduce the exact same thing in hardy
beta. With sudo as part of the command, tab completion does not work.
This is a regression from 7.10. How do we reactive it? I don't think I

I would create a new folder I was not able to rename it as it refused to
respond to keyboard input. They keyboard worked fine in all other cases.

totally messes up the system. Resolution is all off.
