Running with a center channel volume issue (center volume constant,
whatever the master volume).
I found out that master volume worked only for front/rear channel, not
center which stick to its initial value.

I attached lsusb and lspci as my webcam is integrated and so lsusb may not be
useful (issued from 11.10 live cd)

My problem is looking like this one.
After dist-upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10, I have a red icon in the unity panel
sayng I have broken packages. Poping update-manager to look for update pops a
partial-upgrade window. After staring it, it stops then say there is no partial
upgrade available.
I think the bug is even worse, for example java completion doesn't work for
classes that are in a folder with spaces (so not only tabs makes it fail) : if

I have an Atheros AR9285 on my netbook (Ubuntu 11.04, Linux 2.6.38-10)
and installing 2.6.39 backports solved the upload problem? I have no
download problem (wifi g)
I also have an Atheros AR922X with a slow download problem : download
never goes up 250kiB, while upload reaches 500kiB (and
I had the same problem and it seems to be gone after installing compat-
wireless (linux-backports-modules-cw-2.6.39-2.6.38-10-generic). I need
to test a little bit more to be sure this bug is gone for good.

there is 2 parts
1) bad VESA :
I cannot test it with dev release because it doesn't occur in VBox. My guess is
this bug is bound to
- how package upgrade scripts are detecting screengfx card capacities
- how package upgrade scripts are writing the vga option in grub1 menu.lst
So
I confirm the 2nd part is fixed : on proprietary driver, when GFX
capabilities cannot be foound at boot time, consoles back in text mode
(no fb) and ubuntu logo, while not as beautiful as full logo with
Plymouth, is a text logo too (so it is readable again).
i'm not able to test the vga=...

My last report was about a message when plugin iPhone into USB.
I just saw that rythmbox don't detect iPhoen anymore, it sees an
Unknown device and remove it immediately from the list.

iPhone :
usb 2-2: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
ipheth 2-2:4.2: Apple iPhone USB Ethernet device attached
So now iPhone is an USB Ethernet device ?!

Fiepel, the WLAN not reconnecting on wake up is another known bug (most
likely #661206)
The orinal submited bug is a real one involving the rt2860 driver.
With Ubuntu 9.10 kernels, no problem.
With Ubuntu 10.04 kernel, you'll have to reinstall rt2860 driver as described
here :
The bug still occurs with Ubuntu 10.10 ; when happening, it is flooding
my log !

Same problem, I cannot start Unity based gnome-shell if UNE is inside
VirtualBox. Same message.

No problem since Ubuntu 9.10 and my new LCD. I cannot remmeber wich one fixed
the problem first.
Now with Maverick monitor.xml is now referencing my monitor as default and as
DVI0, wich seems correct.
But : gnome-display-properties isn't using the good values stored in
monitor.xml for refresh

an issue with Ubuntu One application, so we turn around...
This bug is not fixed. You can set it to in progress if you want me to
try another way of report (IRC, ...).
The Spectrum analyser is now working (10.04 smd64) but RockLight is
not showing (an no error log).
