Public bug reported: glusterd will fail to start (in fact it crashes, bugzilla bug 820673) if the network is managed with network-manager due to the network not being started during the boot process. This is not something that can be solved in upstart due to there being no upstart event to key off of.
Is there a way to test for network-manager in upstart and fail with a notice that network-manager is not supported? ** Affects: glusterfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1002560 Title: glusterd cannot start if the network is managed with NetworkManager To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glusterfs/+bug/1002560/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
