Thanks for checking up on me. Actually I reinstalled Ubuntu just today.
I had mistakenly deleted the Ubuntu partition on my HD and couldn't even
boot up Vista. So in desperation I reinstalled the Ubuntu OS and it
restored everything. Then I had to install the flash plugins to Firefox
and that did
