Public bug reported:
After installing Ubuntu version 18.04, I tried to install virtualbox,
virtualbox-dkms, virtualbox-ext-pack and virtualbox-guest-additions-iso
using Synaptic. All were successful except virtualbox-ext-pack. I then
copied a VM previously used under Ubuntu 16.04 and ran it.
Sorry for the delay Markus, I wish I had more time to spend on
interesting things ;-)

I've just done a clean install of Linux Mint Maya 64 bit. I dual boot
this with Windows Vista Business 32 bit on my Dell D630. I like to keep

I forgot to mention that I updated L O by adding the 3.5.4 ppa to
Synaptic. I now have 3.5.4.2 and that's still broken.

Title:
SRU LibreOffice
Sorry Rolf, I don't know what was there when I filed the report; was it
November 2009? It was an old laptop (old enough to have a parallel
port), dual booting Win-XP and Ubuntu. XP broke itself, so I
reinstalled everything, and I haven't so far since had the need to get
the printer working.
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cups
a) The System/Administration/Printing GUI doesn't suggest how to
configure a really old parallel port printer such as my Canon BJ-10SX.
I eventually found that it was Other then parallel:/dev/lp0, then Canon
BJ-10e.
b) Then it still didn't work
