and tested playback of several media types with Totem Gstreamer with

To stall a forkbomb you first want to killall -STOP its associated
processes, then killall them.

I cannot reproduce this happening with the standard settings on Azureus
with a torrent with 100 connections. It uses about 35MB resident -
shared memory on startup, and uses about 50MB with a torrent running.
Comparing with Deluge, it's roughly the same overall memory usage with

Ok,
I will triage the backport for the purpose of having a fresh version of
Tor in stable releases (I understand previous versions are being
blacklisted already).
The security vulnerability, however, I have nominated for fixing in
Ubuntu stable releases; I don't want to use Backports as an
Oops, was overzealous in marking nominations -- please reject Gutsy
nomination (not affecting Gutsy)
