customizer Mario Guererio's plymouthmanager ppa's. After upgrade from
Lucid to Precise all OK booting in under 1 minute. Suddenly, boot
takes about 3 minutes with display stuck on BIOS screen but without IOS
I've instllaed bootchart package rebooted. Results attached in this
next comment.

(which was for things like dbus), Evolution 'decided' to 'Work Offline'
without any request from me and no dropping of line. So I set it to
'Work Online' and it's now OK.

I was incorrect: should be /etc/default/grub, not
/boot/default/grub.
I did run sudo update-grub after the edit.
Because the lines became so bad on my laptop running 10.04, I've done a
clean install of 12.04: no vertical lines. I quickly concluded that I
hate Unity. So I checked out MATE
Just installed Precise. Stiil no improvement of right button behaviour.
When I install the addd0n for the button to give correct right button
behaviour on bookmark opening), restart Fiefox and click
ViewToolbarsCustomise, the ico bookmarks with the small arrow is not
present in the window
I've installed 10.04 and the problem gets worse with each reboot, even
though I have nomodeset added in /boot/default/grub on the line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=quiet splash nomodeset. After a few
reboots, the display only shows vertical lines.

I have same/similar problem. After deleting folders.db and restarting
Evolution I now get 'Column folder_name is not unique' presumably
referring to Inbox. Should this be a new bug? Screenshot is attached.

I'm getting this on clean install of Lucid (fully up to date) on a
laptop. Nothing happens on the screen after selecting logout, shutdown
or restart. Nothing on dmesg. Kernel is 2.6.32-22-generic. Due to its
intermittent nature, it's difficult to work out the exact circumstances
for the glitch.
I'm now using Lucid (fully up to date) after clean install. Initially I
connected to router using wired eth0. Worked fine. Now I sometimes
connect to another router using wireless connection (both routers are at
home). That works OK. However, Network Manager applet shows both the
wired wireless
'Unfixed' in lucid.
