I thought I would add more information:
This machine is using Stripe RAID is divided into 2 Drives (not partitions but
2 drives). The First RAID Drive has Ubuntu Server 11.04 with encrypted LVM on
dm RAID0. The Second RAID0 drive has Windows XP. the Third Single Drive not in
RAID has Ubuntu

I first browsed a failed install from the Live disk which failed because
my USB hardware (COOLMAX) froze. I then attached the Hard drive
internally to attempt another install after unmounting from browsing the

Not sure where the apport log went when the report was generated as it
told me this was already a reported issue, I am just trying to add what
I did to help you figure out the issue.

I just wanted to point out that CentOS 5.6 x64 installs and boots natively on
my PC. I really would rather use Ubuntu instead of
CentOS, but the Ubuntu will not complete the install natively.
