Adding Debian sid packages for wpa-supplicant, etc from comment #35 worked me on a Dell M1330 Lucid 64-bit. Strangely the Network Manager notifier shows no connection but browsing works fine. -- NetworkManager or wpa_supplicant timing out when connecting wireless
