UNR 9.10rc installation from usb-stick crashed also on my Asus eee 901. I tried

The googleearth-package in ubuntu archives can only install Google earth
version 4.2.
At first, googleearth-package binary looks for the GoogleEarthLinux.bin in the
current folder, if
I'm using edgy as well and had the same problem.
Rules existed. I was in fuse group and fuse was the group in /dev/fuse.
Still I got permission denied error.
Anyway, I had just installed ssftp and obligatory packages, so I decided to use
the magical trick;
reboot. Now everything works
