stuttering and I wanted stop the video and to close vlc. The playback

I just did the upgrade to oneiric and my 802.1x settings got lost.
The problem: the upgrade fails because the flashplugin-downloader gets no
network.
I had to manually configure dot1x again :(

Yes - it works. But reboot=pci sucks. I have protected my hdd with a
password and set the bios option to not ask for the password on reboot..
With reboot=warm everything worked fine (on my old dell laptop).. Now I
have to enter the password everytime I reboot :(
