I think you should check Bug #802563... The problem is with AC3 sound,
not for merging two different audio tracks (it works for MP3). And I
think maybe the problem is related to transcode.

kwin crashes when prompting passwd after screensaver activation

I have changed the screensaver from GLMatrix (an OpenGL screensaver just
as Kcometen4) to a "regular" 2D screensaver (The Matrix) and after three
times of activation of the screensaver there was no crash!! I will keep
this screensaver to watch if there is no error at all. If this would be
the case,

entering the password when prompting for it with the screensaver active.

More info: I could succesfully burn a DVD+R dual layer of the same brand
(Verbatim) from a 6,1 GB iso image, which makes me think that the bug is
only related to DVD-R DL. I attach the k3b log file.

I have tried to burn a Verbatim 4x DVD-R DL in my LG GSA-H10N dvd writer

Yes, I think this is related to bug 40571: screensaver don't work until
I set preferences in monitor power savings. The fact is that the power
savings preferences are not "remembered". By the way, the screensaver is
set after 8 minutes of inactivity, monitor is set to power off at 25
minutes.

version and sound works OK. Suspend is OK too, but sometimes the screen
remains black after resuming laptop and I have to reset :-(
