when using the keyboard to change workspaces (ctrl alt left/right) its

repartitioned a usb stick with cfdisk while it was mounted.
unmounted the device, removed, and replugged it.
cfdisk shows partition is 1gb, but the original partition size of 100mb is all
gnome sees.
'df -h' sees it as 100mb. gnomes text for it on the desktop is '1GB
