My T410s (with n-trig multitouch) is also unable to suspend (fails to go to
suspend after a few seconds) on 10.10, kernel 2.6.35-23-generic.
It looks like that what we talk about here this is a specific problem for this
hardware combination and that the n-trig is causing it.

The solution from #58 does not work for me (on a Thinkpad X300).
I still have the same catch-22 situation as described in #47.
The packet linux-backports-modules-alsa-2.6.31-19-generic is installed and I
rebooted.
uname -a
Linux x300 2.6.31-19-generic #56-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jan 28 01:26:53 UTC 2010
I have the exact same hardware (Thinkpad X300, running the cat, lspci, and
arecord commands from the bug description gives me the same output) and the
exact same issue.
In my own words:
- When Internal is selected as the recording source in alsamixer, the Mute
checkbox in Sound Preferences
I had the exact same problem on my Thinkpad X300 under 9.04, and now
also under 9.10.

I have a very similar, if not the same problem. I tried to be able to
open .nef-files (image/x-nikon-nef) using f-spots context menu with gimp
and rawtherapee. I did all steps Alex Lubberts suggested, but it didn't
work. In the nautilus context menu the new Open with RawTherapee
selection appears
Same problem here, on a thinkpad T41 with AR5212 in combination with an
apple airport wlan base station (hidden ssid, WPA2). The problem exists
here since my update to feisty, everything worked well with dapper.
