I used to be able to print files to my printer without issue from Inkscape. I
no longer can. I can print from something simple like Leafpad for instance.
No error is indicated on the printer.

I can print my first pdf file with no issues. It comes out fine. I try
to print a second pdf file and just random text/characters are printed.
Only solution is to turn the printer off, cancel the print job and then
print the file again. It then works.

Using nvida-current drivers the GeForce 6200 opengl performance is
insanely slow. glxgears gives around 2-3 fps.
I've tried the open source drivers and they only give 120 fps.

I open 'ContactSend File' and then a window pops up so I can select a
file to send. I select a file and hit the Send

spacebar but it still only starts in xubuntu mode. The mode I normally
run. I cannot select GNOME, Unity or KDE.

Unity Lens will search for documents just fine, but it never finds any
applications. I can click on the applications icon, then start to type
in something to search for. It seems to be searching but nothing ever

With the new driver it seems to be faster but I still have no top menu

Do I have to do that each time I change the paper size? If I have 3
different papersizes, I would have to change them in OpenOffice first,
then in the printer driver (CUPS)?

Writer and it only prints one page unless I select Collate. No matter
how many pages I try to select.

Problem exists for me as well in Ubuntu 8.04. I cannot open a file via
sftp. It asks for my password twice and then gives a General Internet
Error. I've gotten around this by running Open Office Calc via a ssh
session, but this is a very slow way and taxing on my server.

It happened to me as well. Trying to save a file to a remote computer
running 7.10 from a computer running 8.04. A progress bar comes on
screen and just sits there with no progress movement. It also does not
allow me access to the remote computer again without logging out and
back in again.
