using latest gutsy with latest updates.
Since 3 or 4 days the OSD for volume control and inhibit is broken. It show
nothing, but it's working.
On another PC the OSD isn't broken, but it's a Desktop PC.

This is no bug!
If you want to create a link to /home/username the symlink is placed in /home/,
but your user have no rights to do that.
You have 3 possibilities:
1. Add a launcher to nautilus on your Desktop, that's the smae
2. use your terminal with ln -s
3. start nautilus as root and doing
Well, the problem is that the wireless networking card stops working if
the kernel modules hostap_pci, prism2_pci and orinoco_pci are
loaded. I don't know why it works fine before upgrading the kernel, but
the solution is a blacklisting of hostap_pci and prism2_pci and
force loading orinoco_pci.

working anymore.
Unloading and loading the prism2_pci modul again brings the message that
a prism device was found, but there is no device... (e.g. eth1)
