there was no xorg.conf file. The system running ok now, I run xrandr, reboot
and change the resolution to desired one.

i installed kernel you suggested. System boot and work ok, except the
screen resolution. I can`t change resolution to more than 1024x768, but
desktop effect are working well.

i had already tried recovery mode for the affected kernel, but the same
result, black screen. I will try the solution, you describe and send the
result.
