I think I'm experiencing the same problem. Today, on my HP Proliant
server running Ubuntu 12.04 server with 14.04 HWE it hang on boot, but I
could reboot it with sys rq keys. On next boot, there was no automatic
countown on boot selection. However, computer successfully booted and
works since
I have this problem too. Network just stop working. After network stop working,
only I can do to make work again is reboot :/
