This is absolutely unacceptable. This just stung me at work.
There is a reasonable expectation when installing a software collection
from a trusted source that it will not secretly contain a porn-fest.
Telling users to simply uninstall the offending screensaver does nothing
to address the fact
Once you have been stung, Dusty's approach works to remove it:
$ cd /usr/lib/xscreensaver
$ sudo su
# mkdir disabled
# mv webcollage disabled/
# mv webcollage-helper disabled/
# exit
This should be considered a workaround and not a fix! The issue still
remains.

Specifically, short of uninstalling the entire extras collection, you
run the risk of this screensaver being reinstalled again as part of
normal ubuntu updates, so don't think that removing it this way is a
real solution.

If I had not been the first one to spot this behavior on my system, I
could have faced disciplinary action and possibly lost my job. At a
minimum, IT's response would have been immediately to lock-down all
non-standard installs which
