Works fine in latest 1:52.4.0+build1-0ubuntu2! :)

I also hade kernel panic crashes and noted that the computer locked as
soon as my WIFI connected. I then removed the bcmwl-kernel-source
package and everything now works as a charm. Maybe you have the same
problem?

No, I am running a 14.04 on a desktop updated from 13.10. This is what I
get from the terminal:
lars@matilda:~$ echo $LANG
sv_SE.UTF-8
Duplicity is running a backup once every week automatically, but lately
it has been dying with the error described above.

I can also confirm that a unity --reset seems to have fixed my problems
as well. As Mikkel I didn't have any special tweaks and settings
either...

I can also confirm garbled output with a Samsung ML-2851ND. It seems to
"trash" all Swedish characters in the document. This worked OK in 11.04
version. Workaround is to export as PDF and print that, as described
above.

Public bug reported:
I tried the version of Audacity in Oneiric and experienced very slow
performance on two different computers at home. Exporting a 4 minute
track to ogg could take as much as 7 minutes on a Core i5 machine. I
then tried the ppa with "daily builds" from launchpad and all of a

I tried a reinstall of my computer but leaving /home intact. Logging in
as other users on the computer was fine, but my account still
experienced this bug. I then made a backup of my home-folder and started
over again with an empty one. All is now fine! So, there must be
something in my old profile
I can also confirm that the update broke my Oneiric Ubuntu install as
well. If I launch a terminal there are no window borders for instance.
If I start for instance Thunderbird via terminal and do sudo
thunderbird it starts, but still no window decorations. I'll try to
revert to get back to work
I can confirm that I am now able to execute USC without using sudo.
However, the update seems to have broken other things in my install, see
LP #862553.

I can confirm that it works if I issue a sudo software-center in
terminal. But how am I supposed to do that from the launcher in
Unity...?

I'm sorry, but the gnome-settings-daemon does not seem to crash, just
"die". I don't have a .crash-file and when I do a 'ps -A' the process
seems to be running. Killing it and restart it as sudo works, but it is
annoying nevertheless. Any more hints would be appreciated to how I

Binary package hint: unity
Sorry if this is reported on wrong package, I lack the technical experience to
know what part of the system that is responsible to draw the Unity 3D top panel.
Sometimes when I log in the top panel seems to "crash". Please have a look at
the attac
For me it crashes when I try to Alt+F2 on newly installed natty, 64-bit.
Works fine on my other 32-bit systems.

Strange. After having the computer turned off for night, today the
problem seems to have "vanished" and I could reactivate the Dodge-
options in Hide launcher. Have tried several times to reboot log in/out
and haven't been able to reproduce the problems so far. Fingers
crossed...
