S/PDIF is on, like in the case of Felipe, but headphones never worked.
Played around with hdajackretask and hdajacksensetest, found the output
on pin 0x1b, jack insertion and removal is detected properly.
Unfortunately no audio output can be routed to the re-configured pin,
the only "sound" was/is

FYI, I made this work in Linux Mint 18 KDE by replacing the following
line in /usr/bin/xdg-mime

It likely has to do with Plasma 5 and some greps.
